I build custom bikes either using frames from Time Bicycles that I supply or other brands that the client supplies.

I also assemble new bikes bought online by the client from companies like Canyon.

I sell a wide range of used bikes, with up to 15 used bikes in stock at a time.

Time Bicycles

Since 2023, Atelier Ride Far is an official dealer for Time Bicylces. Time has excellent options for road and gravel bike carbon framesets at a reasonable price and they offer several colour options.

With a Time frame, I can build a bike tailored to your needs and desires. It can be a much better option than buying a stock bike from a big brand that may include various compromises.

Time has a lot of heritage in making racing bikes and uses an almost-unique method of carbon production to make their frames and forks in their own European factory to a higher degree of precision than other brands. Despite the quality, the framesets cost less than most of the larger western brands. Read more about the technology and company here.

Other Brands

There are many other good bike brands available; I regularly build custom road and mountain bikes using frames that people have bought elsewhere combined with the components that they choose based on my input. Please get in touch if you have such a project.

Bike Assembly

I also regularly assemble complete bikes that people have bought online. The online stores attempt to make the bikes easy to assemble at home, but it’s better to have a professional mechanic perform a complete check and do the final adjustments. I’m not aware of any other bike shops in the region that offer this service.

At the same time, I can also change any components that are not ideal (for example, cassette or disc rotor size). Here’s a Canyon bike that I made various changes to before delivering it to the client:

Used Bikes

I sell a wide range of used bikes. As well as many basic town and mountain bikes in the 100-400 CHF price range, I also sell higher-end road and mountain bikes in the 500-3,000 CHF range. The stock is always changing, so either visit the shop or look at my listings on Anibis, which I update regularly.

I service all of the used bikes before selling them. I replace any worn-out parts and I guarantee that the bikes function correctly.

If you have a bike that you want me to sell through the shop then my commission rates are very reasonable. Buyers are often more comfortable buying from an established shop than from a private individual and you won’t have to deal with the questions, hassles and complications that arise.
