The “Faites du vélo” is a festival that celebrates cycling in all of it’s various forms in Echandens (VD, Switzerland). The aim is to promote healthy and sustainable lifestyles.
First edition: Sunday, 1st September 2024.
- Family-focused and more sporty rides of different distances on road bikes, MTBs and E-bikes.
- Mini BMX pump track.
- Try out some E-bikes yourself.
- Various bike-focused entertainment, for the big and small.
- Food and drinks.
- Bike repair stand (demonstrations and explanations).

Located around the two colleges of Echandens :
The Rides
We are planning various rides for different types of cyclists. We are still finalizing the details, but this map gives a general idea:
- Short loop for children and families, 2 km (small green arrow)
- MTB ride, 10 km (blue loop)
- Road ride, 40 km (red loop)
- Road ride, 25 km (red and pink loop)
Access
Bike: Echandens is only 5 km from Morges and 8 km from Lausanne: Google.
Train: The “Denges-Echandens” train station is 300 meters from the festival site. Line S3, Lausanne-Morges-Allaman. Timetable: CFF.
Bus: Use bus stop “Echandens, Collège”. Line 702, Morges-Bussigny. Line 705, EPFL-Lonay. Timetable: MBC or CFF.
Car: There is parking in the village: Google.
